Hannah Whites' work is inspired by a love of surface texture, colour and
the architectural qualities that can be produced by woven textile structures
Having gained a 1st class honours degree at Nottingham Trent University in
textiles Hannah went on to gain an M.A. at Central St.Martins
College of Art and design in 2001.
The ability to explore three dimensional structures in weaving comes from
experimenting on the loom. Working with many natural fibres as a base, Hannah
uses new yarn technology to manipulate the surface of fabrics to form Texture.
